11th Colloquium
LangGW4 is an exceptional conference that brings together experts and practitioners in language teaching. This year, our colloquium is hosted by the University of Bristol on June 4th 2026 and will focus on the topics of time.
Join us to be inspired and meet colleagues from the universities of Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Cardiff and King's College London.

The front door (with steps) will be open at 9.45-11.00 am on the day. Thereafter please access the University building from the main entrance at 7 Woodland Road (accessible).
How to get there
Bus: There are numerous bus stops within a 5–10-minute walk from the School. These are operated by Bristol, Bath and the West | First Bus .
Train: The closest station to the University is Clifton Down station (no lift), a 10-minute walk to the University.
Cycle: There are numerous cycle racks dotted at the front of the building.

There is no parking on campus.

On street parking is available but it is metered and limited to a 3-hour maximum stay.

You can park in Clifton Down car park which is a 10-minute walk to the School of Modern Languages. Please check the fees on their website.
