2019 Colloquium

The 2019 Colloquium was organised by Ms Isabel Moros and hosted by the University of Exeter. On this occasion, the keynote speaker was Professor Debra Kelly from King's College London and Deputy Director of the groundbreaking project "Language Acts and Worldmaking". The topics under discussion this time were the teaching of Grammar and the importance of Mediation. We also had a discussion with students voices from across the four institutions about the Year Abroad experience. As in previous years, the event was well attended with more than 80 delegates. For the first time, LanGW4 opened its network to another university outside the GW4 alliance. The University of Southampton was our first ‘guest university’.
