In 2014 the Languages Departments of the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter, began to exchange good practice through their annual Colloquiums on Innovation in Modern Languages Education. This is an exciting opportunity for all language teaching and research staff to engage in scholarship and reflection, and to create a sense of community. We are very keen to collaborate on common lines of enquiry that will enhance our professional practice and our students’ experience.
